FAITH IN ACTION
Our students put their faith into action through a variety of service projects designed to give them experiential opportunities to learn about Catholic social justice teachings.
Service projects expose students to opportunities to serve both locally and globally. These projects are developmentally appropriate for the different ages of students participating and give our students a deeper and broader understanding of what service truly means as they progress through their years here at Snows.
Students at Our Lady of the Snows work to improve the lives of others by participating in a variety of service projects. Part of our SLEs and mission as a Catholic school is to take responsibility for the needs of others, locally and globally. Events that our children participate include:
- Food drives
- Project Easter Basket (Catholic Charities)
- Toiletries drive (St. Vincents)
- Letters and blanket for children at the Kids Kottage
- Blankets and letters for Children’s Cancer Foundation
- Letters and gifts to the Veterans Hospital
- Lunches for St. Vincents
- Coat drives
