The parents of students desiring sacraments attend a parent meeting beforehand and work with their child using the assigned text. After completing the text, students preparing for sacraments attend retreats for Reconciliation and First Communion. These retreats include Bible stories, crafts, review, and practice for each sacrament. Older children needing baptism participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children, as required by the diocese. Children are invited to Sacramental Preparation list based on the information parents gave when they registered for the school. In addition, each class studies and prepares for the Sacrament of Reconciliation during the Advent and Lenten season.
